Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Subject Matter of the Contract
The subject matter of this contract is the osteopathic treatment of the patient by practitioners at the
Céline Diederichs Osteopathic Practice.
§ 2 Fees
A flat fee is charged for osteopathic treatments: 110 euros for a scheduled
appointment of approximately 50 minutes and 65 euros for a scheduled appointment of approximately 30 minutes. Billing
is based on the scheduled appointment time, regardless of the actual duration of the treatment, as this depends on the individual
course of treatment. The scope of services also includes the initial consultation with the
patient. The invoice is sent by email and is due one week after receipt.
§ 3 Scheduling Appointments / Canceling Appointments
The practice operates on an appointment-based system. This means that the scheduled treatment time
is reserved exclusively for the patient.
The patient therefore agrees to arrive on time for appointments and—should it be necessary to cancel—
to notify the practice in a timely manner, no later than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Only then can the scheduled time be allocated to another patient.
For appointments missed without excuse or not canceled in a timely manner, a
cancellation fee of 70 euros will be charged, although the patient retains the right to prove
that the practice incurred no damage or only minor damage.
§ 4 Billing of Osteopathic Services
For privately insured patients, fees are generally billed in accordance with the Fee Schedule
for Alternative Practitioners (GebüH). The patient must clarify the eligibility for reimbursement with
their own health insurance provider prior to the first treatment. Patients with statutory health insurance generally do not receive
reimbursement for osteopathic services. The treatment contract exists between the patient
and the treating osteopath, regardless of the patient’s individual insurance status,
and obligates the patient to pay the fee invoice regardless of whether
reimbursement is received.
§ 5 Confidentiality
All practitioners at the Céline Diederichs Osteopathy Practice are bound by professional confidentiality. Within
the practice, patient data may be shared for the purposes of treatment and billing,
provided this is necessary for the treatment. Information will only be disclosed with
the patient’s written consent.
